論文を読む理由
最新の研究事情を知る，研究の流れ/傾向を知る，という意味で非常に重要な作業です．
今どこまで研究が進んでいるかということがわからないと，
これからどういうふうにその研究分野が進んでいくかということがわかりません．
また，やりたかった研究アイディアが他の人にやられていたということは多々あります．
そういうものを防ぐためにも論文を読むこと(「サーベイ」という)は非常に重要です．
そして，論文を読むことでその人達がどういう問題点を意識して，
それを解決するためにどういうアプローチをとったかということがわかります．
研究とは，結局のところ，自分で問題点を見つけ，それを解決していくということです．
その思考プロセス，解決プロセスがわかれば，自分が研究するにあたって非常に参考になります．
論文ってどう読むの？
まずはAbstractに目を通し，それから結果や考察を軽く読んでみて，
自分が読むべき論文であれば手法なども含めてさらに深く読んでみる．
候補の論文を集めて，数を絞ってゆきましょう．
ある程度数が絞れてくれば，対象論文はもちろん，
参考文献についても読んで，さらにその参考文献，またそのさらに参考文献．．．と読み進めていけば
その手法や関連研究，トレンド，未解決の課題などを知ることができます．
